Tot School - All about "A"

Jadyn is 26.5 months old
Tot School
Our first tot school week went off pretty well! Jadyn enjoyed having "school" just like big brother. She did well having her own set of workboxes. She did a good job of getting one box out and cleaning up and putting the box away. I wasn't too sure how this first week would go, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Jadyn likes her desk!
Jadyn enjoyed her alphabet magnets. We found all the A's.
Craft Time: Making the letter a into an apple and making "A" into an Alligator. If you're looking for alphabet craft ideas check out TotSchool. Great ideas!!!

Jadyn also enjoyed making her own alphabet letters.
Of course, books are always a fun part of the day. She read a lot of books about different animals. Here she's reading a farm book. She does very well with her animal sounds.

And reading to her baby brother is fun, too. These beans were a hit!! Hours of playing and learning!!!!
Recess!!! Enjoying a nice afternoon in the back yard!

Jadyn also enjoyed playing with Playdough. We worked on cutting it and rolling it into balls.

ABC, 123, and transportation puzzles!

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I gave her a workbox of sand and sea shells. Lots of fun for her, lots of vacuuming for me.

Jadyn enjoyed the dry erase board I got for her at Target. (I love the dollar section at Target!)

Coloring the letter A

Color matching and letter A matching with ant cards. Thanks to Confessions of a Homeschooler for these printables.

We went to Lake Tobias on Friday. Jadyn loved seeing all the animals. I think the petting zoo was her favorite part of the day!

Welcome to Tot School! Your first week looks awesome.

The Target Dollar spot and Confessions of a Homeschooler site are favorites here too. Check out www.lovemylifex4.blogspot.com as well. She has a ton of stuff for 2-3 called tot beginnings.

What a great week! I have tried sand and beans but my girls make a huge mess every time! I love the little a apple craft. All of the letters from Totally Tots make me smile.
