My kids were so excited when I opened up my package from Blogging for Books and The Dragon and the Turtle Go On Safari was inside. This book is written by Donita K. Paul & Evangeline Denmark and illustrated by Vincent Nguyen. My 7 year old boy loved the story. He enjoyed seeing the illustrations and guessing what Dragon and Turtle were seeing on their safari. My 2 year old girl loved the pictures! After we were done reading, she looked at the book for another half hour just looking at the pictures. I highly recommend this book for preschool through elementary aged children. I also liked that at the end of the book they gave you a verse and ways to help your children to learn to be strong and courageous because God is with us.
