Our Week in Review - Money, Snow, and The Farm Show

Mj got a nice easy week of school this week. A snow day on Wednesday to play with his cousin and the Farm show on Friday. What a fun week! Here's what Mj did this week.

Bible: Mj learned about Naaman being healed of his leprosy. He also memorized I Chronicles 28:20 "And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord."

English: Mj began writing his first book report. He learned what makes a good book report and how to apply that to his book report that he is writing.

Math: Mj learned about the half dollar and dollar bill. We also played Racko one day.
Heritage Studies: Mj learned about the census. He made a census of lightbulbs in our house.

Science: Mj learned that living things need air, food, and water. We're doing and experiment with 2 bean seeds. One is given water and one is not and we're going to see what happens.
Only in homeschool can you sit at your desk like this and do your work! LOL
On Friday we went to the Farm Show with some of Mj's friends. We make this an annual trip and the kids always love seeing all the farm equipment and seeing the animals.
Mj and his friends learned about vets.
