Our Week in Review - Taking it easy.

We only did a half week of school to get us back into the swing of things after Christmas vacation. And I ended up with strep throat, a sinus infection, and an eye infection so I really didn't want to start school up on Monday. Mj was actually excited to start school again (Shocker!!!). We'll see how long that lasts. Ha! Ha!
Here's what Mj did this week:

Bible: Mj learned about loving others. We read about David's kindness to Mephibosheth, Jonathan's son. Mj memorized I Samuel 12:24 "Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things He hath done for you."

English: Mj reviewed listening skills and library skills.

Math: Mj started a chapter on money. He reviewed pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.
Working on his math paper.
Reading: Mj read about service dogs.

Handwriting: Mj is beginning cursive writing. He's doing a great job on it!
Heritage Studies: Mj started a chapter on changing communities. We looked at our town and found out when it was founded and how it has changed even in the time since he's been born.

Science: Mj learned the difference between living and non-living things. Living things move, need food and water, respond, grow, and make new living things.

Co-op: At co-op this week Mj started a Spanish class and art class. Looks like it will be a fun semester at co-op this year. So thankful for these ladies and the fun we can have together.
