Bible: We talked about the 10 commandments and the Israelites worshiping the golden calf and we also did a prophet spotlight on Jonah. He memorized Exodus 32:26 "Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, 'Who is on the Lord's side? Let him come unto me.' And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him."
Mj adds Jonah to our Bible timeline.English: Mj learned about making nouns plural by adding "-es" and that some nouns need to change their spelling. He also learned about common nouns and proper nouns. Commas in a series were also another thing we briefly discussed.
Math: More fact families and problem solving strategies.
Reading: Mj read a story about a man going to market and the predicament he gets himself into with a goose, fox, and corn. We also reviewed compound words and silent "gh".
Heritage Studies: Mj learned about growing cotton and how cotton is dyed.
Science: We finished our chapter on forces by studying mechanical force and friction.

So I took lots of Dayquil and took Mj to it. We had so much fun!!! They had a scavenger hunt for them to do all through the museum. They also had some hands on activities and we got to paint by chocolate. It was yummy!! So glad that I got to take him. He said it was an awesome day!
